Amongst all the great music and workshops at Wychwood sits the Groovy Movie Picturehouse.It is an oasis of calm amongst the hustle and bustle of the festival, a chance to catch a surreal short film and broaden your mind or just a welcome moment of shade in a quirky, cosy, comfortable, informal, intimate and friendly venue. It's a world away from your local multiplex and we will be screening films mainstream cinemas have never even heard of!

This colourful mobile Cinema is celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2007. The project began as a reaction to the complete lack of provision for screening independent and underground film at arts festivals and over the years has been built into a fully featured, high quality mobile cinema, which tours a wide range of outdoor events around the UK and Europe, becoming the world's first mobile fully solar powered cinema.

The previous three years Wychwood has been delighted to raid the Groovy Movie's own catalogue of weird and wonderful short and feature films,as well as having special screenings from some of our contributors and this year will be no exception.
