How can you support Wychwood Music Festival?

There are a number of ways you can support Wychwood; By becoming a Wychwood Music Festival Supporter, helping us to promote the event to your friends, family and local community or as a site steward attending the festival itself and helping to make it happen.

Wychwood Music Festival Supporter

Being a Wychwood Music Festival Supporter is a great opportunity for those budding music promoters that we know are out there! We are building a network of Wychwood Festival Supporters. The aim of this network is to increase positive word of mouth about the festival ready for 2009.

Each individual Supporter would be responsible for a small area (in their neighbourhood) which they can keep stocked with posters and flyers and generally say nice things about the festival to their friends and family.

This is very little time constraint or pressure on any individual Supporter. The network relies solely on people's enthusiasm for Wychwood and the ideas that we promote.

As a Wychwood Music Festival Supporter you can get involved, influence the festival and where it goes in the future. We are looking to develop the Festival focusing on what our community think and want when they come to the event. The Wychwood Music Festival Supporters gives people a chance to invest and become part of something that will in turn invest in them by providing a diverse, colourful and exciting live music event.

Site Stewards

To make Wychwood Festival happen, we need the support of volunteer stewards - we need your help!
Experience Wychwood Festival by giving your time and energy in making this brilliant festival happen. There are benefits including free entry, meeting new friends, learning new skills, and being part of Wychwood's growing team of volunteers.

There will be full training given and you will be working in various areas over the festival weekend including festival information, night stewarding, backstage stewarding, hospitality stewarding or supporting stewards in different areas if required. There will also be a need for stewards to work at various venues across the site including music stages, the cinema, workshop venues or within the traders village.

You will be:

• Welcoming people to the festival
• Checking tickets and wristbands
•  Being the friendly face of Wychwood festival informing visitors
• Maintaining emergency service access
• Site security
