Do you still have questions about The Wychwood Music Festival? Please take alook at our FAQ which features some of our most common queries.
Q. Do you sell day tickets?
Day tickets are now available. Visit our tickets page for more information and to buy.
Q. Can I buy tickets on the day?
Tickets will be available on the day depending on availability. Please check this web site closer to the festival for updates regarding sales.
Q. I want to see a particular act but can't get to the festival in the morning. Is there a discount on day tickets on the door if I can't attend the whole day?
No. We are sorry that you are unable to attend earlier and enjoy the whole festival experience. Only full price day tickets will be available for purchase on the door, which allow you to enjoy the programmed events until 3am.
Q. Do I require a pass for my car?
No. We don't issue car passes.
Q. I'm bringing a live-in vehicle - do I need separate pass for that?
Yes. We require you to purchase a pass for your live-in vehicle. A live-in vehicle is defined as any vehicle you intend to sleep in for any part of the Festival
Q. I've ordered my tickets but they haven't arrived yet. What should I do?
Firstly we will ask which agency you bought them through and direct you to them to deal with your enquiry. If the agency is WeGotTickets then they don't send out physical tickets. Think of it like an airline ticket. They issue a unique code which is emailed to you. When you arrive at the festival we will ask to see that code plus ID such as a passport or driving licence, preferably something with a photo and signature.
If you bought directly through the Wychwood Music Festival Office then tickets are sent out by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and we can trace them. If you are not there to receive them a card will be left. If they are not picked up after a week the sorting office will send them back to us.
If you would like them to be sent to an alternative address, please inform us.
Please allow up to 4 weeks (including payment) to fully process your ticket if bought from the office. If tickets bought immediately prior to the festival cannot be processed in time, they will be available for collection at the festival Box Office.

Q. I'm bringing my children with me and they are both under 12, do they require a ticket?
Children aged 11 and under are free at the festival. For the 2008 festival we will be issuing a ticket for them and you are required to have one for each under 12 you will have attending with you. For every adult ticket purchaser there can be two free children, more than two per adult and you will need to purchase an additional child ticket at £10.
Q. I live very close to the racecourse. Is there a resident's discount?
No. We do not currently offer a resident's discount on any of our tickets.
Q. I bought my tickets early and now discover I can't come, can I get a refund?
We have a no refunds policy. Please see the terms and conditions on the ticket page for more information.

Q. How do I find out when a particular act is on?
We like people to attend for the whole day/weekend to get the full festival experience so we do not publish performance times before the festival. There will be programmes available and an information point to help with details.
Most acts perform in 45 minute to 90 minute slots and the first acts on Friday will perform around 5:30/6:00pm. On Saturday and Sunday the first act will perform on the Main Stage at around 11:00am.
The final act on the Main Stage finishes at 11pm as required by our licence. Entertainment else where on the site continues until 3am.
Q. I'm particularly interested in the workshops. Is there any additional cost to attend them?
The workshops at Wychwood are included in the ticket price, so there is no additional cost to take part in them. Most craft materials are provided free of charge to you and are sourced from the Gloucester Resource Centre who do wonderful work in Gloucestershire. A very small number of specialist craft workshops may ask for a minor contribution to materials.
Q. When do the workshops start?
Workshops on Saturday and Sunday start at around 10am and run right into the evening. Sessions usually last for an hour, although the craft workshops run continuously from 12-4pm. There is a short programme of workshop sessions on Friday starting from around 5pm. It is always worth purchasing a programme (available at the festival) so you can be sure to catch everything you wish to attend.
In the evenings, the workshop areas host a whole range of entertainment until late. Last year this included a magnificent fire show!
Q. I am in a band and I'd like to perform at The Wychwood Music Festival. Can I submit a demo?
The deadline for submitting a demo has now passed for the 2008 festival. A big thank you to everyone who has sent info in so far. Anything recieved after the 8th will not be opened. It is bad for the environment, never mind your pockets, to send out unsolicited CDs!

Q. I would like to trade/cater at the Festival, can I receive an application?
For 2009 trading and catering, please email us and we will send you information out in December.
Q. What is the policy regarding food and drink at the festival?
You can't bring your own food and alcohol into the festival village. There are plenty of food stalls that cater for all tastes at reasonable prices and the bars stock a range of drinks.
This policy does not apply to the campsite. You can eat and drink your own supplies on the campsite. We do appreciate that people with allergies and/or children may find that they need to bring some food and soft drinks/water with them into the Festival Village, but please restrict this to what is reasonable.
Please DO NOT bring any glass into the Festival Village; it and its contents will be confiscated!
Q. How can I support the festival?
The Wychwood Music Festival is run by a growing number of amazing people who we feel are all part of our extended family! You can become a festival supporter and help us spread the word on Wychwood in your locale, as well as being a ticket agent etc. We have a number of volunteer stewards and site crew. Please click here to find out how to apply. Positions are filled quite early on, so please get your application forms in as soon as you can.
